Black and White and Color

Here are some of my latest images created in Silver Efex Pro 2. I have added toning to these images.

Be Seated

This image was taken at my wife’s daughters college graduation. I thought the chairs made for an interesting pattern. I converted this to BW in Silver Efex Pro 2. I am including a screen shot from Silver Efex Pro 2 so you can see how the image started and where it ended up all in the Silver Efex Pro 2. The left side of the screen shot was the neutral conversion and the right side of the screen is how it looks after I tweaked it. There are so many possibilities with this plug-in…

It’s a Sign

I took this image awhile back. I wanted a more graphic quality to it so I thought it would lend itself well to a BW conversion. I am happy with the final result. I added a light vignette around the edges to pull your eyes into the sign and then up the image.

Cup O’ Tea

These are some older images that I thought I would dress up with Silver Efex Pro 2. The second image started out using a preset in Silver Efex Pro and then I did a bunch of tweaking from there.

Black and White or Not Black and White That is the Question…

Here are some straight forward black and white images all converted using Silver Efex Pro 2.

Fun with Black and White

Here are two images that I converted in Nik’s new and awesome Silver Efex Pro 2. I can’t say enough about this new upgrade to Silver Efex Pro except that I almost want to use it exclusively and never touch color again only for adding back a little color selectively. The second image was photographed using the Lensbaby Composer, which is a selective focus lens.

Day Dreaming

This is another Silver Efex Pro 2 BW conversion. Did I mention that I love this plug-in?
